Chuck Campbell brings to The Everest Group twenty-two years of senior line management experience as well as eight years of serving clients of a “Big 6” accounting firm. His line experience was gained in domestic and international businesses, within industrial and consumer product industries. His expertise is concentrated in strategic planning, financial management and control systems, organizational development, and acquisition/divesting activities.
Prior to joining The Everest Group, Chuck was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of Federal Signal Corporation, a public (NYSE) growth-oriented manufacturer of industrial products serving diverse worldwide markets. Federal Signal grew from $250 million in 1985, when Chuck joined Federal, to current revenues of approximately $1 billion through international expansion, acquisitions, and internal growth.
Earlier, Chuck was Chief Financial Officer of publicly held (NYSE) Masonite Corporation prior to it being acquired by another building materials concern. His experience also includes work as Chief Financial Officer of various divisions/operating groups of Sara Lee Corporation and Esmark Corporation. In addition to his financial and administrative responsibilities at Sara Lee, he managed the purchasing and physical distribution functions. Chuck also enjoyed an entrepreneurial experience as Chief Financial Officer of American Louver Corporation, a private manufacturer of plastic molded products.
Chuck began his business career with Arthur Andersen & Co. on the audit staff of the manufacturing division. His last four years were spent as an audit manager serving various public and private clients.
Chuck has an MBA in Finance and Accounting from The University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University.
